JHM Supports Little Kids Rock!
(November 2010) - Members of the JHM Foundation recently visitied the classroom of Gina Sideris with the Dallas chapter of "Little Kids Rock", a group that provides guitars, basses, and drums for kids to learn to play on. Their approach is a little different because they teach using the "aural" method, e.g. instead of learning to read music and play, they teach songs the kids know and want to play.
While there, the Morris' presented a $1,500 donation to Little Kids Rock organization!

Houston Art Car Parade 2010
The JHM Foundation took J.O.P.E. ART Car to the 23rd Annual Houston Art Car Parade to a show of more than 280,000 live spectators throughout the streets of downtown Houston. On Friday night at the Sneak Peek approximately 200 fish were decorated by swarms of eager Houston children. We hung the fish as fast as they could decorate them to add a beautiful new aspect to the boat. All of the kids were so excited to know that they had been a part of making an art car and that they would be able to see their fish sail through the parade the next day.

Real men wear grass skirts...
On July 17, 2009 we met on the Brazos for a real Texas-style Viking Funeral. We each placed something in the handmade ship that we felt connected us to Jeffrey in some way...and then lit roman candles and fired away! (Oh yes, ehem.. we also wore grass skirts and helmets with horns)
